Problems with search results

I am still having problems with search results. I am running actinic v5 and have tried the following:

Try unticking the box in 'View | Search Settings' that says 'Add Section Information to Product Text When Indexing' and then uploading.

But whilst certain searches return the correct results, others just return a list of all items in that category with the actual item some way down the list.

Can anyone suggest what might be causing this problem.

Searching for santa works searching for witch doesn't.

My only suggestion is to totally re-built the search index file. To do this:

1) Delete all *.fil files in your Site1 folder other than ActinicSCCode.fil.

2) Delete all *.fil files in your online 'acatalog' folder.

3) Go to 'Web | Refresh Website' to regenerate everything and upload it.

This will take a while as Actinic will also upload all images and HTML for the store.
