View Full Version : Paypal and order acknowledgement mails

Hi,

When people pay by a card (via protx) we get an e-mail informing us of their order. This is handy when working away, so i can inform staff which orders to focus on. However with PayPal, though i do get an acknowledgement of payment received i dont get an e-mail saying what the order or consisted of.

Is there a fix for this?

This is most likely due to people not returning to your site after paying at Paypal. Actinic doesn't know if the payment has been completed.

Oh i see. Is there any way i can force them to return to the site?

Have you searched on phrases such as "paypal callback" or "paypal return to site"?

You can place messages on the page before they shoot off to Paypal - but you can't force them.

It may be wortwhile to use Logmein (free version) or GoToMyPC whilst you are away.
