network settings pass but wizard fails

Moved shop to new server

tested network settings > pass successfully

Use the wizard and it fails when looking ftp directory paths

Whats that all about?!?!?!

Have you tried uploading the site?

site uploads fine.

when it asks you to choose root and cgi-bin dir its says bad http request or the server may be down(?)

Will keep poking it and see what comes out.

It is not unheard for the wizard not to be able to figure out some server settings so as long as the test passes and the site uploads fine then I wouldn't be too concerned.
