Is there a way to over-ride the weight calculations in component based products?
Example I have a product called WIDGET A and it's made up with no description of the product by COMPONENT A, B, H and K. Each component has a weight and they are added together to calculate the total maximum weight, as that is my chosen method.
However as many of my products are very light I would prefer to have the product weight used not the components. This is not being looked at by Actinic I assume because I have the proce calculation set to components only... perhaps I need to change that to product + components, if someone could advise upon that.
Reason, some the products are sold in groups of thirty (per outer) and the volumetric weights will not calculate properly unless we can disregard the component weight in favour of the product weight but for stock control we don't want to see the product in our invoice as that will export to Sage and muck up the stock records, so it does need suppressed.
