Shopping cart not displaying as should

Hi Guys
Is there a way around this. I have products with choices and options , the product purchase is set to sum of prodcuts and components

Purchase product trophy at 40 , select engraving option at £8 the shoping basket shows a total of £48 but I would like it To show:

trophy £40
engraving £8
Total £48

Is this behaviour by design or can I fiddle to get it to display as I have shown above.

Hi Andy,

Double-click on your component to open the 'Component' window and select the 'Component' tab. Tick the 'Component As Separate Order Line' option and click 'OK'. Update your site and you should get the price showing for the main product and the choice.
