Extra images and text in section pages?

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to insert images and text above and/or below the section links in the sections pages?

please check this link for an example of what I am looking to achieve -

I am looking to add info above the section links (image on left, section name on right) to advertise promotions etc. I would like to add the same above the products in the product pages.

I have a product at the top of each section, and have customised the HTML template so that it does not display the the product name.

Just the image.
