Invalid last three digits on Signature Strip

When I activate the requirement to enter a CVV number, and then I test it using my own card with valid numbers, I get the following message:
"Credit Card Number:is an invalid number.
Invalid last three digits on Signature Strip, please check and re-enter."

Not sure how to proceed from there other than de-activating the requirement.

I've got it deactivated for the moment, I'll re-activate it and let you know as soon as I get some other issues resolved.
