Hi

as you can see from my previous posts i have had a bit of a bad run with virus/trojan threats.

i have it all sorted now, with no threats showing up when i surf my sites from other computers, but i still get a warning when i look at me site through my old laptop.

so

i have now bought my self a new lap top and obviouly don't want to transfer the problem.

please can i have any advise , i am particularly interested in anti virus, malware, adware downloads that come recommended.

thanks in advance.

Kaspersky Internet Security is my recommendation. Also MalWareBytes for spy ware etc.

once you have the new laptop running to your satisfaction, and taken any data backups from the old one - archive to dvd, flash etc

Reinstall windows on your old pc, part of the install process will reformat the drive (s) - now you have a backup machine for use.

install avg free, malwarebytes free on it, keep it patched with windows updates etc, upgrade to ie8. sometimes its useful to try stuff out on actinic on a old pc - make sure you dont put the password in network settings though

use the new laptop for work, use the old one for play

I would also go with AVG or Kaspersky plus SPYBOT
