View Full Version : Proble with First Direct switch card

We've had a customer complain that they cannot use a First Direct switch card on the site. I've seen other threads that state that Netwest and Royal Bank of Scotland cards can cause problems, but does anyone know of First Direct cards doing the same? If yes, what is the solution?

According to the customer it is saying 'unknown card type'.

Hi there,

A solution to the problem is to create another card type of credit card i.e. going into View | Business settings | Payment & Security under payment method select 'Credit card captured for later processing' and then click on the configure method.

Under the credit card accepted area press the '+' icon to add another credit card and call it Switch with issue or relevant, selecting the appropriate options.

You can perhaps add a message at the credit card selection process, by editing the template order02 which can be found in Advance | Template Manager | Ordering | Order Pahse2 OR
goto Design | Text click on the 'goto' button inserting the values;

Phase = 5
ID= 8

Possible you can add a message in one of the unused prompts.
