I have uploaded my store but when I try to view it I do not see the shop front page.

Actinic loads the store into a folder called 'acatalog' on the server. To view the store you need to include /acatalog/ in the URL.

So that buyers can find the store more easily you should create a 'home page' which links to the store and upload this to the web root directory.
