framsets

i want to use a 3 page frameset instead of the usual actinic 2.
1.nav bar along the top, 2.product cat/department down the side , and then 3. the main frame product info,

Managed to alter act_brochureFramset.html and act_framset.html
to include the new frame however none of my netquotevars will work on the new page ( they appear as standard text) is it a case of importing some javascript code to get this area to work ?

Rather than use frames, which cause all kinds of issues with search engines, why not use a clean layout like Layout05, which will lay out the page as you want?
