Hi All,

Is anyone out there using Mailgate? it's a program that's a bit like Exchange but is smaller. the problem we have is that we are unable to upload/download via Actinic. All the Actinic settings are correct as other machines will upload/download OK.

Sounds like security issues. What does teh Actinic network test report? Can you see the site with an FTP client?

Unable to connect to the FTP server "ftp.fxbathroomsdirect.com" because the specified server is invalid. This could also occur if the network connection is down.

The FTP session was terminated

Are you using mailgate as an internet and ftp proxy?
If so have you set up the proxy settings in the Actinic Network Settings?

Can you not protect your network with a firewall instead of behind a proxy?
