Discounts in Catalog V6

Fingers crossed someone will be able to help me!

We would like to offer a discount to clients using a discount code. Having looked through the discounts section in Catalog V6 it appears the only option is applying a global discount against every order. Is that right or is there an option to tailor discounts?

I think you will find that the discount codes option is only available in Actinic Business not catalog.

The major discounting functionality came in with v7. The v7 (and subsequent) Business version has more discounting capabilitiues than Catalog.
