Shipping Query

A simple query no doubt as I know I have seen it somewhere before. I am using the latest version of Business and want to get the customers to select their location before they select any other details as our shipping costs vary depending upon weight and location. This way they will be able to see the cost of shipping in the cart with each item they place in the basket.

Any ideas?

I knew it was somewhere I had seen. But why is mine greyed out?

It is greyed out if your shopping mode for any section is set to anything other that 'Quantity on Confirmation Page'.

Bummer. I hope that that will be fixed in an update. Especially since we're taken to a bounce page anyway. Why doesn't that pause for the location input if required.

What a pain to have all these new ways of displaying products but it stopping an established program feature that people who may be upgrading from earlier versions will still want to use.

Following earlier comments on this thread - I do not want to have quantity on Confirmation Page, I want customers to be able to edit quantity on the Product Page. Are there any plans/workrounds that mean that I can prompt users to enter shipping location either on entry to site or as they add something to the basket for the first time give nthe restrictions on the Request Location Information Early checkbox?

OK. Point is that it can be misleading for a customer if they cannot see the shipping charge until checkout - can lose a sale if added on late.
