Item in 2 area of the shop with same ref:

I would like to place a number of products in two seperate area of a shop.

Xmas Sale area & normal section area. Is this possible and if so will changes made to one item ie the price automatically update the other item with the same ref?

These items would require to have the same reference so that our client could match up the stock.
