Hi there,

I am thinking of a redesign of http://www.mensgiftshop.com the site works well and has gone through many versions of Actinic but I am not sure if I am carring to much baggage.

The site ranks well for some things and not so for others so I would welcome all comments. I normally take the view of if it aint broken dont fix it.

Am I missing anything obvious?

It could certainly do with a bit of va va voom. Take a look at your competition and see what their sites look like. You should also find that a clean css site will fair better in Google.

some 'englarge image' buttons would be nice. Can't see some of the product very clearly.

Yes I already had that down as good idea. Is it best to just use and extended info page or is there another way?

The site is good and works well - just needs a more modern look and feel.
Larger images, more general info readily available, 3 column layout and different colour theme IMHO.
Take a look at Norman's Lightbox and Tabber at Drillpine.

Sean TBH if you were thinking of a redesign none of the standard css themes would greatly improve the look of the site. Thus you would be better looking at employing a designer, or just incorporate the usability tips detailed y others.

For me it needs the font size enlarged and the logo fitting better into the colour scheme
