How hard can it be to get insurance!!!

I've spent the better part of a fortnight, so far, calling around companies trying to get public liability insurance for Chariots On Hire and, as yet, no-one can cover me!

I'm still waiting on a few people to call me back but, the more I get "no", the less likely it seems!!

Somebody must provide this type of insurance (for hiring prams/pushchairs etc), anyone have any pearly words of wisdom?

Have you tried a local broker ?

Sometimes these can be the most flexible.

or look for a local cycle hire company and ask them who they use.
Not quite the same but who knows!

Good advice. There will be small companies out there that specialise in quoting for specifc types of projects.

For instance, when I was looking for public liability insurance for a play I was helping produce, I looked on the web and found somewhere in Bournmouth that specialised in insurance for theatrical companies. They are out there - the big companies can only really do the most common things.
