yet another referrer script question

Heres another question about the referrrer script.

I have a client who would like to remotely check the number of visitors to his site from his affiliates. I have set up the referrer script which is working correctly, but this will only allow you to see the information through Actinic reports.

My client wishes to be able to check the totals of referred visitors remotely, perhaps by viewing a text file generated by the referrer script. Is there anyone who has done anything similar who could point me in the right direction?

My perl is sketchy to say the least.:(

The referrer value shows up in the 'User Definable 3' field in 'orders.csv' when you do an export from Actinic. Perhaps the client could do month by month exports and email them.

Not a great solution I know, but that's off the top of my head.

I've already discussed this with him and its not really a viable solution. He needs to be able to get at the live data rather than a generated historical report.

What he is after is 'to the moment ' data of who the referrers are and how much spend there has been from each.
