Hi everyone
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to force orders to be in multiples of a quantity. My client sells glassware in packs of 6 or 12, but they stock them in Sage 50 as single products. Can we force a customer to order this item in multiples of x, and then the order filter in to Sage as single items

e.g. Online order is for 1 x pack of 12, but when downloaded in to Sage, becomes 12 x product AB001? I thought maybe this could be done using components and permutations?

Am I completely off track? Can anyone help?
thanks

Create a product that is 12 of something and make that product available to buy, not the individual product itself. There have been previous posts on fixed quantity buying, well worth a search and a good read to see some other options open to you.

Zoe,
You could follow this KB article which you could simply implement by having a quantity drop-down with 6 and 12 as the only options.
