Help! Unable to buy products as script error on "Buy"

Hi

Would appreciate if anyone can help as orders cannot be placed on my site at the moment! All the products are available and as far as I'm aware nothing has changed locally. I'm only involved with the general maintenance of the site locally and a third party hosts my site.

The following script error occurs with any product when click on "Buy":
"Error: The specified product (reference 1865GB) has just been removed from the catalog...."

Check duplicates, firewall, orphan products

I did a "purge" and this must have done the trick as customers are now able to buy from the store now! Phew am I relieved!
