Instructions for Actinic Express
On 4th of January 2011, the standard rate of VAT will increase to 20% from the current rate of 17.5% .
The following instructions list the steps for changing tax setup in your Actinic Express merchant User Interface.
Suspend ordering on the site as late as possible before 4th January by going to 'Setup Store | Ordering Options' and un-check Allowed for Online Ordering.
Under 'Business Settings | Tax', replace the existing VAT rate with 20 and Apply.
Re-enable ordering by checking Allowed.
All new orders placed after this change will now bear the new tax rate, while the old orders will retain the old rate of 17.5%.
