Credit/Debit Card Surcharge

Hi all,
I would like to add a credit card surcharge to orders over a certain price, is there anyway i could do this?

Hi Raymond,
You could add a line of text at the start of the checkout process saying that "all orders above xyz will incur a ..% surcharge." Then if it's manageable add the surcharge to the order when it's downloaded. Have a look at the thread HERE (http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=16808#post16808) for details on adding text to the checkout process.

In Actinic, click View->Discounts and you can create a surcharge for orders over a certain price. The surcharge will apply to all orders, not just credit card orders. It is easy to delete the surcharge when you process the order if it is not a credit card order, but you have to remember to do so.

is actinic able to calcuate different surcharge rates depending on the credit or debit card selected?
