Dear All,
I seem to have a high incidence of incomplete orders - that is I have 2-3 every day.
At first I assumed it was customers simply backing out, however I've managed to speak with a couple of customers that say they couldn't get the order to complete.
I tried to talk one customer through the process on the phone. She had tried to process an order unsuccesfully, then decided to call the shop to order over the telephone. Even with Telephone support, we still couldn't get the order to checkout / complete.
On her first attempt, she had opted for Google Checkout, then changed her mind part-way through the order, and decided to switch to Paypal, but couldn't process the order.
This left an incomplete order hanging in the system. I removed the order whilst on the phone then asked her to try again.
Attempt two........the order still wouldn't process / proceed to checkout.
I asked the customer to view her basket and remove the items in her basket and try again. This time it processed.
Anyone else experiencing a high incidence of Incomplete orders or perhaps orders that can't be deleted?
