Error in Catalog order

Hi Folks,

I've just moved my site to a new server. Everything seemed to work O.K. although I didn't make a test order. Big mistake on my part!

I've just received the following message -

Following error has been displayed to a customer: An error occurred while creating the order number lock file (../acatalog/OrderLock.num). The error was Permission denied. Actinic ecommerce can not create a unique order number and can not continue. Please contact us directly with your order.

I've changed the permissions of OrderLock.num and Backup.num to 777 but I'm not sure that is correct?

My test order now goes through but is a bit sluggish at the final stage. I've tried to download the OrderLock.num file to take a look at it but I'm unable to as it produces a "critical error" in my FTP program.

Can anyone advise on how I can create a new Orderlock.num file and what the permissions should be? I've had a search through my Site1 directory but can't see this file.

Try renaming the file then do a purge and refresh.

Note that if you select to overwrite modified script files any perl changes you may have made will be overwritten.
