IF I ENTER A PRICE £10.00 & IS VATABLE AT 17.5%, THIS IS DISPLAYED AS £11.75 INCLUDING VAT

CAN I ENTER MY PRICE AT '£10.00' AND HAVE IT DISPLAYED
'£10.00 INCLUDING VAT' RATHER THAN £11.75 INCLUDING VAT?

(I KNOW IT IS POSSIBLE TO DO THIS BY ENTERING £8.50? BUT THIS GIVES A ROUNDING UP PROBLEM ON MANY PRICES)

Hi Manjit

The only way you can do this, would be to disable Tax altogether, but this will cause problems for those that are tax exempt.

Regarding the rounding problem, make sure you have "Round Line Scientific" selected under View | Business settings | Tax. If you continue to have problems with the rounding, you can always use a "custom tax" for the problem products. To do this, go to the product in question and select custom tax under the tax treatment window, and enter the amount of tax, eg 1.99

I hope this helps.
