Error Message

When I am starting up Actinic epos I am getting the following message

Error Setting Global Variables from main Database
3320Function is not available in expressions in table-level validation expression

When I try to do a sale I get the following message
Error adding transaction detail Function is not available in expressions in table etc etc


Can anyone help with this please?

If you use the Google search facility on the forum and use the error message (or the key parts of it), a selection of threads with users who have had the same problem will be shown to you, the solution will almost always be in there too. Well worth searching before you post, especially with error messages, you'll end up with a quicker solution most of the time.

Thanks....Really useful to know, I did find an answer, to reinstall the c:\checkout\opos250e\disk1 using the oposdata.reg however unfortunately this has not worked for me though, even tried a system restore too. Perhaps if I copy the checkout folder to a disk, then reinstall the entire actinic epos program?
