Shopping cart items disappearing

Were getting reports from customers and ive seen it my self where we add an item to the shopping cart and when you get redirected back to the catalog the item disappears from the cart.

So far a complete refresh of the site cures the issue but do you know what could be causing it?

Is the website in question called RC World? I have been on your website (http://www.rcworld.co.uk/acatalog/Specials.html ) and added to cart, and it works fine for me, shows the price fine.

Please try and delete your internet history and try again

A possible cause is that somehow the *.session file on the server or the cookie on the PC is interrupted so that the PC loses track of the cart contents stored in the session file. Maybe the session file did not get created due to disk-space issues on the server.

Nadeem i cured the issue by completely refreshing the site, but my question was more curious to what Chris was stating as the possable cause.
