Quantity multiplier?

I want to add an option so a customer can choose different quantities of a certain product. The advanced manual seems to go out of its way to be as unhelpful as absolutely possible.

Sorry ignore me, I didn't realise you could already specify a quantity when you actually 'add to basket'. Part of the disadvantage of working without a proper testing server.

Glad you discovered the solution.

It's not too difficult to set up Apache / Perl / WarFTP on a local PC (including the one catalog is on) so it will act as a server and let you fully test the site. Details are in the advanced guide. All you have to do when you want to go live is to chenge the Network settings.
