Epos link applied automatically

I switch off the epos link on my lap top when I take it home, away from the main linked till. The link is now automatically reinstated when I turn Business on (at home - so Business is then unable to open and just 'hangs'). Does anyone know how I have managed to switch this facility on and how I turn it off?

It should eventually time out after trying in vain to find EPOS. After that you should be able to get into the settings and disable it again.

Unfortunately, it hangs continuously, so far I have left it for approx 3-4 hours, so no good really. What i do not understand is how when I have definitely switched off the link before turning business off, why it spontaneously turns itself on again when I turn business back on. This has only happened in the last week or so, so I must have changed a setting but I do not know what I have done!
