No add to cart page

I'd like to add a couple of pages of pure text, content on the website so there would be no add to cart sections, just information. I've searched the postings but can't find anything about this. Is it possible?

Hi there,

This can be done. What you need to do is ensure that you untick 'Can Be Ordered Online' in the product details window also using an appropriate template layout.

Thanks for the reply.

I have the 'show product reference' selected on the site. I obviously don't want a reference for the text page. Can I remove this for just one section?

Hi,

Certainly, what you can do is open up the product, which is being used for 'text' only. Under the 'General' tab, click on the 'edit' button besides the Product layout selector. This will open the template being used for this 'Product Layout' (make sure this is not selected on other products) then comment out NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTREF variable, which should then look like

Save the file and then preview the changes.
