View Full Version : No Customer set up with Quickbooks link

Hi everybody.
Wer'e just starting to use Actinic link for Quickbooks. There are a few issues but it looks like it will work well apart from not being able to create new customers and assign the orders to them. This is dissapointing as 70% of our new business comes through our Actinic shopping cart. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Unfortunately the facility to create new customers is not supported within QuickBooks 2002 as it does not have the 'API' that is available in the US version of the software.

However, the UK version of QuickBooks 2003 (due out in the next couple of months) will include the API. Therefore, soon afterwards Actinic will be bringing out a UK version of the existing 'full ' QuickBooks Link that we have in the US, and you will be able to create new customers in QuickBooks from orders received though Actinic.
