What I would like to do is send an email to all my past customers - is there an easy way to extract the email addresses from my Actinic V6 Business?

If not, perhaps someone knows of a way to aquire my customers addresses from the catalogue to enable me to correspond with mail out?

You can send e-mail to all registered customers I think, I'm sure you can send it to all other customers as well I think I'll get back to you.
