Problem with Pallet Colours

I'm trying out V6 using trail download and am having a problem with pallet colours.

I have set pallet colour 2 (top of screen) & pallet colour 3 (left menu bit) to be the same (a rusty brown) colour and have a pallet background of very pale cream.

However, when I view the design, pallet colour 2 & 3 are VERY different - pallet 2 is as I want it but pallet 3 is much paler

Any ideas why this is the case?

It is because there is not a 1:1 relationship between the palette colours and the sidebars.

I have attached an alternative file to this email that you will be able to copy into the 'formats/themes/Layout1' folder. Then try applying the colour scheme again.

Note for other people trying this: Whatever clean layout you are using, always copy it into the 'Layout1' folder.
