A bit rusty so any help in structuring this would be great

I have a group of products (workshops) I need to have a single charge for attending the session, including one free workshop (out of a selection of a few).
I then need to select extra workshops which cost money.
Any suggestions in how to structure this as simply as possible?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I would create a product for the seminar, and make the price of this product the cost of the seminar less the price of one workshop.

Then within this product I would create an optional component for each seminar available. Each one would have an appropriate cost. Online, customers can then select the ones they want by ticking the appropriate box.
