product price variable

I want to be able to include a link to launch XE.COM popup for currency convertion.

I need to pass the price to XE.COM I am assuming that I could does this by having the code GBP=NETQUOTEVAR:ITEMPRICE in the product description box.

Can anyone advise 1... the name of the product price variable
2.. if this will work?
