upgrading

Hi

I have V5 Developer installed on my machine and have just bought V6 developer upgrade.

I also have V6 catalog installed on my machine that belongs to one of my clients. I upload changes and he downloads orders on his machine.

If I run the V6Dev cd will it overwrite the V6 catalog files? Or does the software automatically look for previous versions of developer?

You don't need to install anything (I think). All installs of Actinic have all the capabilities. It's only the License keys that makes them operate differently.

All you need to do is to run your existing V6 Actinic and do File / Sites / License New Site, put in your Developer key and you'll get a new site running under Developer.

Your old site will be unaffected as it's using a V6 Catalog key.
