making United Kingdom the default

HI,
Is there anyway where the country-selection drop-down at the beginning of the checkout can have United Kingdom selected as the default?

About 90% of our customers are from the United Kingdom, so it would make great sense for this to be the case.

Any advice on how to do this is greatly appreciated

I think it would be controlled by the Perl somewhere, but I have not been able to find it yet.

Anyone else like to make a suggestion?
