Easy change template or product layout

I have made a few custom templates and product layouts, how do i build them into Actinic so i can select them very easy. The ones at the moment are just the standard like "use parent, description only, large image on left, no image laid out in rows, etc..." so how would i get my own in the drop down box so i can just click them instead of having to paste the html template name in?
