Shipping charges & zones help

Hi,

Currently we only ship to the UK & our delivery charge method is crude - based on value of products.

Many of our products are heavy so this did work well initially. However, with an expanding range of lighter products we would like to charge by weight. We also would like to offer our products to the rest of Europe (registered card address delivery only for this).

We could do this on our own but dont really have time to get bogged down with calculations & wondered if anybody had a shipping model that would suit (also a knowledge of european shipping will help this)

I take it by the silence that putting a good shipping system is difficult?

There are some shipping import files available for FedEx, ParcelForce, Royal Mail and DHL. Check out http://www.actinicdownloads.com/shipping.htm for some options.
