Vat price display and notification

I have been using my online catalogue for some time now set up simply to display the Inc Vat Price.

I have done this by inputting the Inc Vat value in the 'Price - in Product Details'

And the following text in 'Shop Defaults>Default Price Text>Product Price Description' - ' Price you pay including VAT and Delivery'

I would like to update my catalogue to display Inc and Excl VAT prices and for the customer to recieve the notification email showing a proper VAT breakdown.

Please advise the steps I need to make to achieve this.

Hi there

First of all you need to convert all your prices to ones excluding VAT. This is described in this knowledge base article (http://knowledge.actinic.com/users/kadmin/cgi-bin/ss000007.pl?PRODREF=CD391&NOLOGIN=1&ACTINIC_REFERRER=http://knowledge.actinic.com/users/kadmin/acatalog/).

Next up, you need to go to 'Design | Options | Miscellaneous' and select both 'Display Tax Inclusive Prices' and 'Display Tax Exclusive Prices'.

That should do it.
