As it turns out, 7.0.0 was a lot more stable than any other *.0.0 release we've ever produced at Actinic, so it would have been 'safe' to upgrade anyway - in that it would not have affected your current store.

As it stands though, 7.0.1 is going to be released very shortly (think hours rather than days...) which does fix the few initial problems we did find.

Too right - we've not found one problem.

Roll on V 8.0.0 - lets get the wish list really buzzing people - those Actinic Developer people need a real challenge for V 8.0.0
