couple of questions:

1.
does actinic automatically set permissions on excutable files to 755 (i.e they are executable)

2.
my upload isnt working as i keep getting the following error when testing the link, (ive put this in variuos searches and no results?)

if you are uploading for the first time, then you need to ftp to your site and create a cgi-bin and set the permissions to 755 yourself
