uploading website

Hi all

Is it vital that you upload the site using the software rather than a ftp program? I have recently started my work placement and am required to update their site. but it seems like the site has been uploaded through an ftp program.

actinic uses ftp protocols to upload the catalog to the site.

You can upload any non-actinic pages using a normal ftp client without any problems.

You can also use the 'Generate Scripts', and 'Generate Files' options under the advanced menu to create the files for sending with an external ftp program.
