Catalog search question ?

Hi

When using the quick search function in Catalog (V5.1.4) it seems to pick up on meta tag information and find every page and all the items on the pages, is there a way to only search the product descriptions for all items ?

Try going to 'View | Search Settings' and unticking where it says 'Add Section Information to Product Text When Indexing'. Then, update your web site.

This should mean that your search will just index the product details rather than the meta tags or any other information in the sections.
