Abandoned Shopping Carts

Is there a way seeing if shopping carts have been used and then abandoned?

I am trying to find out if there is anyting putting customers off from completing a purchase.

I use Protx as my payment provider and they email us with incomplete transactions.

From this its not unusual for people to use two order numbers as when they go back to change the delivery address they get assigned a new number.

I then have details of those people who have abandoned their cart and am able to contact them if necessary.

Its suprising how many poeple can't read the prompts when placing an order!
