Hi,

I'm new to Actinic so please be gentle.

I've created an HTML page I intend using as a template for my homepage and all pages within my store (if I ever get it going :) ). It's nothing too fancy, has some javascript rollovers and an external stylesheet.

Can I convert this to an Actinic template?

Many thanks,
Davie Barbur.

Yes.

See the Advanced User Guide which you'll find here: http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/downloads.htm

Cheers Mike.

Do I have to edit an existing template and overwrite it? Can't I just import my file?

The user guides aren't all that clear to me.

Cheers,
Davie.

Strangely the bit on 'actinifying' your own design doesn't appear to be in the V7 Advanced User Guide.

Have a look at the V6 Advanced User Guide that does have a section that tells you what to do.

Anyone know why this isn't in the V7 AUG ?

I moved a lot of the customisation stuff into the 'DesignGuide.pdf' within the 'Actinic v7\Starter Guides' folder. Check this out for a discussion of the subject.
