How to indicate prices for up-sell/choices

As far as I can see the up-sell and choice features doesn't show the product prices upfront to the customer unless one manually enters it into the text (i.e. "If you want an extra cartridge for 8.50 tick this box").

Is there a way to show the prices to the customer on both of these features and have them updated when the product prices change automatically?

Not at the moment I'm afraid. You will need to change the prices in the drop-downs and the components manually. This is something that should be appearing in the next major release though.
