fragment to top of catalog list

I've set up a list of galleries in the ' on-line catalogue' , I waant to put a fragment at the top of the list that simply says , 'Galleries'. I can do this within the sections themselves by removing the default postion. But the catalog doesn't have that function displayed .

What am I missing ?

As I was typing I wondered if there was a part of the 'options' menu that would cover section default placment and there is .
