Hi! I am about to begin implementing Actinic on my new job, recently hired as the in-house designer for a small business.

I've been looking around at examples of Actinic catalogs and though I am impressed with how they work, I have not seen many that look stylish.

I am concerned that the catalog and my design won't gel well together.

Can anyone send me links to sites which use Actinic that are fashionable and consistent? I know they're out there.

This is the site I am redoing, which needs it badly--Duty Gear Uniforms (http://www.dutygearuniforms.com)

Thanks!

Christy

www.actinic.co.uk has a whole list of example sites, my personal favourites are :-

http://www.eliteelectronics.co.uk/
http://www.settle-carlisle.co.uk/
http://www.bbclothing.co.uk/
http://www.ihavetohave.it/
http://www.thefreemason.com/
http://thewarstore.net
http://www.twinkleontheweb.co.uk/

Some of them look really nice, some are just really easy to use. My own web site is straight out of the box, more or less and I am more than happy with it.

Thanks Jan! I checked them all out and they are in fact quite wonderful.

I was just concerned because I find most of Actinic Catalog's templates to be well...cheesy and what I am striving to stay away from...

But they are still ingenious, whether it's my idea of good design or not. :)

A lot of the themes are from older versions of catalog and so are quite out of date. With developer around now I am hoping to see lots of innovative new themes for sale that will help people like me keep up to date (where are they Gary ;-)).
