Custom search on home page

Hello Forum,

Using V6 Business

I am trying to get a small custom search containing three dropdown menus to function on the home page (act_BrochurePrimary) of my site. Can someone please offer me some guidance on how I might achieve this.

Is it possible to make the dropdowns auto populate from the customvars I have created (which work suceesfully on the dedicated advanced search page) or do they have to be manually populated?

If anyone has any other words of wisdom I would be very keen to know the options.

Hi there Alex,

You will need to first create it on the catalog pages by using searchable properties. Then copying the fully generated code from the store pages into your Act_BrochurePrimary.html. This is the only way to achieve what you want.
